About Me

I’m a Bay Area psychologist experienced at supporting teens and adults in exploring, questioning, and unlearning deeply-rooted patterns that are no longer working for them.

Training

I earned a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Lehigh University. I completed my doctoral internship at Temple University and an additional postdoctoral fellowship at University of California, Berkeley.

Areas of specialized training:

  • Provision of psychodynamic and dialectical behavior therapies (DBT)

  • Facilitation of process-oriented and structured group therapy

  • Response to sexual violence and intimate partner violence

  • Affirming care for transgender and gender diverse people

  • Application of trauma-informed care principles in individual- and systems-level interventions

I have also worked extensively with education professionals. Prior to becoming a counseling psychologist, I taught in a public high school. I have several years of experience providing mental health-related consultation in schools, and my graduate research focused on the mental health needs and outcomes of K-12 teachers.

About Me

As a queer person, I understand how important it is to be seen, respected, and affirmed as our unique and authentic selves. Together, we will co-create a space where you feel both supported and challenged to grow.

I have been a registered yoga teacher (RYT) since 2018. My approach to wellness is informed by my understanding of yoga philosophy and awareness of the relationship between mind, body, and spirit.

When I’m not working, I’m a lover of moving in nature, seasonal produce, and curling up with a good book.
